I am a returning amateur ballet dancer and wanted to make improvements into the 'next level.' As someone who’s always willing to put in the effort but doesn’t necessarily have the time to research what to work on, the personalised custom plan has been the quickest and most effective way for me to get “on track.”
What I love is that I can work on more than one topic at a time without feeling scattered. And it’s completely okay that I can’t do one-hour sessions five days a week. Julie designed my plan to do 15–20 minutes a day with just two longer sessions, and it still works beautifully.
There’s also this oddly satisfying joy in checking things off… or, in my case, changing the color of each cell on my spreadsheet! Plus, Julie even hides a few extra topics: things I should work on but that aren’t at the top of my list yet, which has turned out to be incredibly helpful.
Another thing I appreciate is that I don’t have to finish every class in a topic at the same level. Each topic grows progressively more challenging over the three months, so I always feel like I’m moving forward. I made new discoveries in the very first week everything from what I’d been doing incorrectly to finally feeling the right muscles engaging, and that kept happening the entire time.
And yes, I’ll absolutely do it again with a brand-new set of goals… plus a few of my old ones so I can keep improving!

I had really been struggling with getting motivated to start again after I'd stopped dancing for a few years. I wanted to dance so badly but I just couldn’t seem to get going. I had a few fits and spurts where I’d do a class here or there, but never was able to follow through and dance consistently. I was also concerned about how to slowly work my way back into it without hurting myself at 68 years old.
So I took a leap and signed up for a Custom 12-week Plan with Julie. Let me say, it’s been everything I’d hoped for and more! How long should it be? What should I work on?" Everything was already decided. All I needed to do was turn on my laptop and start dancing. Quite often in my PJs and ballet shoes!
Some classes on the plan were so short that I would think really? Is this even going to be beneficial? And wouldn’t you know, that several times it’s those short little classes that kicked my butt! Working on isolated areas in a small amount of time really works. I’m just wrapping up my 11th week and I feel so good! 55 classes!! I’ve gotten so much stronger and the plan was created in such a way that I never felt overly sore, and certainly never hurt myself.
I plan on doing it again for another three months. Julie, thank you so much for helping me to achieve my goal of dancing again consistently. I highly recommend anyone doing this program!

My custom plan was a gift to myself and I am so happy I did it. I liked that Julie understood my goals and knew exactly how to break them down into achievable steps. I noticed a lot of mental progress in myself. When I worked on one goal for an extended period of time, I was able to consistently focus on that one area and let all the other goals just be.
