Receive feedback on a full 360° view of your pointework and what to work on to reach your goals.

How it works

Step 1: Fill out a questionnaire about your injury, ballet & pointe history.

Step 2: Prepare a video of your feet, pointe shoes, and pointework from different angles using the follow-along video provided.

Step 3: Receive a confirmation email that your evaluation is in progress and a date on which you can expect your feedback. (Usually within a few business days.)

Step 4: Receive your feedback!!

You’ll receive video feedback consisting of a voiceover over your video along with drawings on your body to illustrate suggestions and tips.

You’ll also receive an email with a summary of the video including up to 5 free instructional videos from our members-only On-demand Library or Journey to Pointe course explaining the tips further and specific suggestions for you to work on.

+ What are the combinations in the Pointe Exam?

All combinations may be modified to meet your level of comfort with pointe.

  • Barefoot showing ankle & toe range from the side view
  • Standing showing ankle range and demi-pointe range

+ Is there a time limit to submit your video?

We ask that you upload your video and complete your questionnaire within 3 months of purchase. If you feel that you need more time, please do reach out to let us know so we can plan when to receive your video.

+ Can I request a refund?

A full refund is available within 30 days of purchase if haven’t submitted video yet. If you have submitted your video and you are not satisfied with the level of feedback received, please request a refund within 5 business days of receiving your feedback. We are happy to offer a 50% refund.

+ Do I have to be a good dancer to submit a video?

Nope! Even if you’ve just started dancing, practice with the video until you’ve got the moves down, and send it in!

+ Do I need to film it well?

We’ll comment on as much as we can see in the video. The follow-along video will help instruct you as to the camera angles to film the video. Do your best to have as much of your body in frame as possible, but we understand that you're a dancer, not a videographer!

+ What should I wear?

Tight-fitting clothing will show the most of your technique. Shorts/leggings are preferable over ballet skirts. Lighter-colored leggings and tights are best. The Foot 360° Consultation is entirely barefoot. For the Ballet Techqniue Exam, wear your socks or ballet slippers (whatever you normally wear for class.). And for the Pointe Exam, the beginning will start barefoot and then will be wearing your pointe shoes.
